This is our way of keeping you close to the barrel. You will find updates on events, tastings, new releases, and cocktail recipes made just for subscribers. Thanks for being part of the rhythm and the story we are building together.

Why Rhythm River?

Rising Tide… full steam ahead!

As we push forward toward opening, construction is in high gear at the Rhythm River Distillery campus.

Construction on the still house is in its final stretch. With tanks and distillation equipment installed and piping close to complete, we are just weeks away from firing things up.

The view of our thirty-foot-tall continuous column still is a beautiful new landmark in downtown Henderson.

Construction and renovation of the building that will serve as our on-site barrel storage warehouse is now underway.

Work on our Visitors Center will start in earnest in the coming days. You’re going to love the transformation on Main Street!

Making Waves…

On January 22nd, we had our first public-facing event with our friends Silk Velvet, hosted by the wonderful team at Farmer & Frenchman. A bourbon pairing dinner that featured an apple cider-braised pork shoulder that was complemented perfectly by our Rivertown Bourbon. The evening was completed with a dessert old fashioned, and we’d like to share the recipe below for anyone who’d like to enjoy it at home.

From the brilliant mind of our cocktail alchemist, Victoria, we served the Dessert Old Fashioned at the Farmer & Frenchman in January, and it would be perfect for a weekend treat!

Rivertown Dessert Old

Fashioned

A refreshing blend of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, cherry & orange. Licor 43 brings complexity to a classic bourbon cocktail. With 43 ingredients, you’ll find more flavor in this delicious take on an Old Fashioned.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rivertown

  • .75 oz Licor 43

  • 1 Luxardo Cherry

  • Orange twist

  • 4 dashes of chocolate bitters

build

  • Add bourbon and cherry to a rocks glass and muddle the cherry.

  • Add Licor 43 and ice and stir.

Pro Tip: add .25-.5oz water to proof it down

Garnish

Garnish with orange and dashes of chocolate bitters.
